| The walbro carburetors are pretty simple.If nipple you were talking about is a primer buld you should be able just get them two lil bolts lose and replace bulb. | But that was a moot issue as pondering it didnt get us anywhere nor did it get the carburetor fixed. The man said he couldnt do it, so that was the end of that. |
| Im currently reading a book titled "Old Tractors and the Men Who Love Them" by Roger Welsch. Roger is one of those guys who if he wasnt so wrapped up in Allis Chalmer WC tractors would probably be a Studebaker owner. He also wrote (or maybe still writes) for a publication called "Successful Farming". In 1994 he wrote this article called "Rogers Simple Guide to Carburetor Adjustment" which I think applies to anything with a carburetor on it: Lee (have ordered three more of his books) That is a good article Lee. I have an Allis WC for sale cheap. It does need a little carburetor work :) |
